Journal Club Global: Natural versus Programmed FET Cycles


A significant portion of IVF cycles now utilize frozen embryo transfer. While one RCT has demonstrated the superiority of IM progesterone over vaginal, it is unclear if these "programmed" cycles are better than "natural" cycles with a corpus luteum. The lines between these two management approaches are often overlapped or blurred. The scientific literature to date is unclear and each approach may have key advantages and disadvantages.
